First of all, I would like to thank my sponsors Miller Lite, Johnsonville Brats, Elastic Wastebands, Lipitor and all the fine folks at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, late night Cinemax and Vaseline. I would also like to thank all of the little people that I have stepped on over the years. You were my stairway to success. The next race is February 26th at Daytona. The location of our party for that day has yet to be determined. I will keep you updated. Since I did win this year I will provide the meat for the party. I can't wait for you all to get a taste of my meat. Delicious. As I mentioned before, there will be a couple of rule changes next year. I hope everyone still wants to do this again. I think the new rules will make it a bit more fun. If you are not going to do this next year, let me know as soon as possible. It does take me some time to get everything prepared. If you know of anyone else who would like to join our league just let me know. I do have at least one new member for next year, my son Michael. Don't worry though, he sucks. He is a fan of the 88. Here are the final payout amounts: Segment 1- Cosmo 90.00 and Bauman 15.00, Segment 2-PT 90.00 and Freddy 15.00, Segment 3- Chuck 90.00 and Freddy 7.50 Norb 7.50, Segment 4-PT 90.00 and Matt 15.00, Overall PT 250.00  Cosmo 155.00 and Matt 75.00. Stewart wins at Martinsville

Tony Stewart was recently spotted with this woman. I wonder if she has spanked his monkey yet. There are only three races left in the year. This week's race is at Texas on Sunday at 1 P.M. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. Here are the results for the Martinsville race:

Week-Neil 139, Brian 129, Cosmo 118, Al 117, Jim 117, Toby 111, PT 109, Matt 105, Bauman 104, Norb 101, Freddy 101, Chuck 98

Segment-Matt 958, Al 955, PT 945, Neil 938, Norb 923, Jim 913, Toby 906, Freddy 884, Cosmo 867, Brian 867, Bauman 867, Chuck 789

Overall-Cosmo 4375, PT 4357, Matt 4348, Chuck 4319, Freddy 4292, Neil 4260, Jim 4244, Brian 4199, Toby 4193, Norb 4142, Bauman 4085, Al 4074

I think for next year we will have a couple of rule changes. There will be 3 driver groups instead of 4. The top 12 will be group 1 and 13 thru 24 will be group 2.  All other drivers will be in the 3rd group. Then we will have a wild card pick. You will be able to pick any driver as a wild card but you will only be allowed to use that driver as your wild card pick for 5 races for the entire year. The other change will have to do with when your drivers are due. Next year I will not need your picks until 3 P.M. on Friday instead of 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Races to go to next year

With my work scheduleI have to plan things well in advance. We have kicked around a few ideas and I have came up with a list of races that I could go to. Now if none of these dates work for you all.....well screw you go where you want.
Sunday March 18 at Bristol-524 miles 9 hours
Sunday April 1 at Martinsville-684 miles 11.5 hours
Saturday April 14 at Texas-739 miles 12 hours
Saturday April 28 at Richmond-781 miles 13 hours
Sunday May 6 at Talladega-514 miles 8.5 hours
Saturday May 12 at Darlington 779 miles 13 hours
Sunday September 2 at Atlanta 513 miles 8.5 hours
Saturday September 8 at Richmond 781 miles 13 hours
Sunday September 16 at Chicago 270 miles 4.5 hours
Sunday October 13 at Charlotte 674 miles 11.5 hours
Sunday October 28 at Martinsville 684 miles 11.5 hours
Sunday November 4 at Texas 739 miles 12 hours

If their is no interest in these races that's okay. I will pick one and go without you. We talked about August 25 at Bristol or October 7 at Talladega but both of those dates are out for me. Just let me know. If their is no interest I will probably just go to the Chicago race in September just because it is close.

Clint Bowyer Crashes the Chase

This is the lovely Athena Barber. She is the former long time girlfriend of Clint Bowyer. She broke it off when she realized that the sponsor for the #33, the Hamburger Helper Helping Hand, could make her feel things with those four fingers that Clint could never make do. Next week's race is at Martinsville on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. There are only four races left for the year. Here are the results from Talladega.

Week-Toby 199, Norb 197, PT, Matt and Freddy 176, Cosmo 175, Jim 173, Neil 170, Al 169, Chuck 159, Bauman 146, Brian 138

Segment-Matt 853, Al 838, PT 836, Norb 822, Neil 799, Jim 796, Toby 795, Freddy 783, Bauman 763, Cosmo 749, Brian 738, Chuck 691

Overall-Cosmo 4257, PT 4248, Matt 4243, Chuck 4221, Freddy 4191, Jim 4127, Neil 4121, Toby 4082, Brian 4070, Norb 4041, Bauman 3981, Al 3957

I had mentioned a possible trip to Bristol next August. After careful consultation with my advisors, we decided that maybe a trip to Talladega next October 7th would be better. The drive is much shorter and tickets are a little easier to get. It is a Sunday race, so we would leave Friday, tailgate and go to the truck race on Saturday, tailgate and go to the race on Sunday and come home Monday. That Monday will be Columbus Day so most people would have it off. Just let me know if you are interested so we can try to get our seats close together and get hotel reservations. We need to know ASAP so we can get hotel reservations. Talladega is kinda in the middle of nowhere and the hotel rooms can be hard to come by.

Matt Kenseth wins at Charlotte.

Katie Kenseth crashed while practicing for a charity race a few weeks ago and broke her collarbone. That is her husband running towards her. It's a good thing his car runs better than he does. The 48 took a big hit in the point standings and in his car. Now you all know I do not like the 48 at all but that was a hard hit and I thought he may have been hurt. I was glad he crashed out of the race but I was glad he didn't get hurt. Next week's race is at Talladega on Sunday afternoon. I will need your drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. Here are the results for the week and the current standings.

I sent out a text today about going to the Bristol night race next August 25th. Let me know if you are interested. The wives are also invited. Getting tickets shouldn't be a problem but hotel reservations could be so let me know so we can work on reservations. I know it is 10 months away but with my work schedule, I have to plan way in advance.

Kansas results

Standing on track against the safer barrier
Looking at grandstand from the infield
 Signing the track
A crewman preparing the 34 car
Looking down pit row before the race
 Green flag pit stops
 Matt Kenseth pit stop
Stewart and Kurt Busch during driver introductions
Kenseth and Kyle Busch on a restart
Jimmy Johnson celebration (makes we want to barf)

The race at Kansas was sort of boring until the last 25 laps but we all had a good time. A woman walked up to Heather and gave her 2 infield passes so we got several great pictures from the infield. This week's race is in Charlotte on Saturday night at 6:45 p.m. Quailifying is Thursday night at 6:10 p.m. so for this week I will need your drivers by 5 p.m. on Thursday evening. As you will see, the overall standings are probably the closest that they have ever been since we started the league. The rest of the season should be exciting. I have a confession to make. As unbelievable as it may seem, I made a mistake when I added the points from qualifying. I posted that Neil had 11 points from qualifying but he actually had 15. Sorry about that. I want to thank the scoring Gestapo (Chuck) for catching that. I wonder if that mistake had been on my brother's score if Chuck would have brought it to my attention? Things that make you go hmmm!!! Anyway, her are the results for the week:

Week Matt 163, Toby 154, Brian 149, Jim 135, Cosmo 134, PT 129, Neil 126, Chuck and Freddy 117, Al 111, Norb and Bauman 97

Kurt Busch was the winner of the race at Dover. The top photo is of his soon to be former wife. The bottom photo is of his current girlfriend. I don't really care for Kurt Busch but you have to admire his taste in women. Blonde hair and big boobs are a great combination. This week's race is at Kansas on Sunday at 1 P.M. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. I will be at the race and coming home on Monday so it will probably be Tuesday night before I get the results posted. Here are results from this week:

Stewart wins again!!!

If you think that Tony Stewart is smiling because he has won the first 2 races in the chase, you'd be mistaken. He is smiling because he just finished spanking his monkey. I suppose he will be spanking his own monkey for awhile after announcing to the world on national TV that he made some changes and dumped the dead weight, referring to his former girlfriend Jessica. I do hope that  he got a chance to go motor boatin one more time before he dumped her. Anyway, here are the results for the week and the current standings.

Richmond results and rantings

Kevin Harvick was the winner of the crash-filled Richmond race. This is a photo of his hag, I mean wife Delana. She does wear the firesuit in the family. I am quite sure she could kick her husband's ass. Well the field is set for the chase and I have updated the driver groups for the 4th segment. Their aren't really many changes in the groups. The 33 dropped to the second group and the 2 moved up tp the first group. The 00 dropped to the third group and the 31 moved up to the second. That's about it. I updated the groups on the homepage of the blog. I will also email and snail mail the new groups to you. Chuck was the winner of the third segment and Freddy and Norb tied for second. The rest of us just suck I guess. Now for my rant. The 88 was the beneficiary of the Lucky Dog free pass four times on Saturday night. Every time he went a lap down, miracle of miracles, the caution would come out and he would be back on the lead lap. NASCAR really needed the 88 to qualify for the chase, and he did. Conspiracy? You be the judge. I am just saying that the timing of the cautions really helped the 88 salvage what was otherwise going to be a bad night for him and for NASCAR. Anyway, here are the results for the race and the final results for the third segment.

Race-Jim 126, Cosmo 122, Bauman 121, Chuck 119, Toby 119, Freddy 117, Matt 112, Norb 109, Al 108, PT 97, Brian 84, Neil 76

Segment-Chuck 1101, Norb and Freddy 1062, Jim 1036, Cosmo 994 and Matt 994, Al 991, Brian 972, Toby 959, PT 947, Neil 887, Bauman 883

Overall-Chuck 3530, Cosmo 3508, PT 3412, Freddy 3408, Matt 3390, Brian 3332, Jim 3331, Neil 3322, Toby 3287, Norb 3219, Bauman 3218, Al 3119

This week's race is in Chicago on Sunday at noon. I will need your drivers by 10 pm on Thursday night. I know that the 4th group is sometimes hard to keep track of because of the changes in who is driving which car. The best way to keep track of who is driving what car in each race is to click on the link for Jayski's Silly Season that is on the homepage of the blog site. Then go to the race info page and it will tell you who is driving which car. Now that sometime changes during the week so you may have to check it again before you send me your drivers.

Okay, this is not Brad Keselowski's girlfriend. Keselowski's girlfriend is named Crystal Lohman. This is former playmate and lingerie football player Katie Lohman. No relation but same last name. That's close enough for me. Anyway, here are the results for the race and updated standings:

Paul Menard wins for the first time in Sprint Cup. Unfortunately, I searched for an hour for a picture of his girlfriend but could not find a good photo. Ryan Newman won the race today but I was not able to find a good photo of his wife so I chose to put a picture of Danica Patrick. It is a bit of a stretch chosing Danica but there is a connection. Just stay with me. Danica drives the Go Daddy car in the Nationwide Series. Mark Martin drives the Go Daddy car in Sprint Cup. Martin drives for Hendricks Motor Sports. Hendricks provides the chasis and engines for Stewart Haas Racing which is the team that Ryan Newman drives for. So there you go. Her are the results for the week: Matt 137, Cosmo and Norb 133, Al 129, PT 127, Chuck 122, Freddy and Brian 118, Toby 113, Neil 111, Jim 92, Bauman 59. As you can see from this picture of Kyle Busch's wife, he is definitely getting the better end of the deal. Here are the results from the Kentucky race and the final segment two standings:

This week's race is at Loudon, NH on Sunday at 12:30 P.M. From now on your drivers will be due by 10 P.M. on Thursday night for every race. Even if it is a Saturday race and they hold practice on Thursday during the day. This should eliminate any confusion about when drivers are due in to me. ALSO I REALLY MEAN IT THIS TIME. IF I DON'T HAVE YOUR DRIVERS BY 10 P.M. ON THURSDAY, YOU WILL BE GIVEN YOUR DRIVERS FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK. THEIR WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. I WILL NO LONGER TEXT OR EMAIL YOU AT THE LAST MINUTE TO REMIND YOU. You have a week between races to pick your drivers. That is plenty of time to email, text or call in your drivers to me. Since this was the last race of segment two, the drivers will be re-grouped according to the owner's points. They will be posted on the on the blog. I will also email them to you and mail you a hard copy. I am going to implement a rule change on the driver's groups for the remainder of the year. The third group will have 13 drivers instead of 11. This should help to avoid drivers from moving back and forth between the third and fourth group. I hope this makes it easier for you to pick your driver from the fourth group. Just a reminder that the third segment has only 8 races in it.

Sunday, July 3, 2011

This week's race is in Kentucky on Saturday night. This is the first ever Sprint Cup race at this track. Because of this, NASCAR is allowing the teams to do some test laps on Thursday morning before practice on Friday. Since this test is , for all practical purposes, a practice session, I WILL NEED YOUR DRIVERS BY 10 A.M. ON THURSDAY MORNING. REPEATING, I WILL NEED YOUR DRIVERS BY 10 A.M. ON THURSDAY MORNING. There was also a change in the 3rd and 4th groups. The 21 moved back down to the 4th group and the 7 moved back up to the 3rd group. This is the last race in the second segment. After the Kentucky race the driver groups will be updated for the 3rd segment. Some of you have already used a driver 5 times in this segment. The following is a list of those drivers; Al can not use the 5 or 83, Matt can not use the 24 or 38, Freddy can not use the 38, Chuck can not use the 24 or 83, Neil can not use the 24, Jim can not use the 00, Brian can not use the 38 and Bauman can not use the 16.

In keeping with my new tradition, instead of Kurt Busch's picture for winning the race this is a picture of his wife. Do you think a goofy looking guy like Kurt Busch could get a hot wife like this unless he were a famous race car driver? The answer is hell no. Sorry I did not get the qualifiyng results out to you. Remember to pay attention of how many times you have used a particular driver. You can only use a driver 5 times per segment. There are only 2 race left in this segment. If you have trouble figuring out what drivers are still in the 4th driver group just go to nascar.com and look at owners points. The 21 is scheduled to be in the race this weekend so he will be in 4th group.

Matt Kenseth used pit strategy to pick up the victory on Sunday. This Saturday is the all star race at Charlotte. What a waste of a perfectly good race weekend. This so-called all star race has such a convoluted set up, it is not really an all star race. Their will be drivers in this race who are far from all stars. Anyway, the next race for us is a week from this Saturday at the Coca-Cola 600. Here are the standings from last Sunday's race. Toby 153, Freddy 151, Chuck 149, Brian 148, Al 146, Jim 145, PT 136, Bauman 133, Neil 131, Cosmo 125, Norb 120, Matt 104. Kyle Busch must have known he had done something wrong cause he didn't have the balls to climb out and face Harvick. This is just a reminder to everyone. JIMMY JOHNSON SUCKS and Mark Martin is a pussy driver. The 24 would have won the race if Martin would have stayed with Gordon instead of backing off in the last 100 yards. He could have put the block on Johnson and still been able to push Gordon. If I were Gordon I would kick Martin's ass. Except Martin would probably kill him. Anyway here are the results for the week: Neil 182, Brian 175, Cosmo 169, Chuck 154, Jim 137, Matt 137, Norb 131, Bauman 121, Al 120, PT 114, Toby 113, Freddy 106. The standings for the segment are as follows: Cosmo 1143, Chuck 1092, Bauman 1082, Neil 1067, PT 1024, Toby 1018, Brian 1015, Jim 995, Matt 993, Al 958, Neil 948, Freddy 931. There is no race this weekend due to the Easter Holiday. The next race is Saturday April 30 at Richmond. It will be the last race in segment 1. It also means we could have a first in our league. It may be the first time Cosmo and Bauman have won any money.

Well Junior has the pole for the Daytona 500 but I'm sure he will have about as much success as he did in last night's Bud Shootout. His car won't even look this good by the end of the race next Sunday. Jeff Gordon starts second in the 500. The rest of the starting positions will be set at the Gatorade Duals on Thursday afternoon.
