Stewart wins at Martinsville

Tony Stewart was recently spotted with this woman. I wonder if she has spanked his monkey yet. There are only three races left in the year. This week's race is at Texas on Sunday at 1 P.M. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. Here are the results for the Martinsville race:

Week-Neil 139, Brian 129, Cosmo 118, Al 117, Jim 117, Toby 111, PT 109, Matt 105, Bauman 104, Norb 101, Freddy 101, Chuck 98

Segment-Matt 958, Al 955, PT 945, Neil 938, Norb 923, Jim 913, Toby 906, Freddy 884, Cosmo 867, Brian 867, Bauman 867, Chuck 789

Overall-Cosmo 4375, PT 4357, Matt 4348, Chuck 4319, Freddy 4292, Neil 4260, Jim 4244, Brian 4199, Toby 4193, Norb 4142, Bauman 4085, Al 4074

I think for next year we will have a couple of rule changes. There will be 3 driver groups instead of 4. The top 12 will be group 1 and 13 thru 24 will be group 2.  All other drivers will be in the 3rd group. Then we will have a wild card pick. You will be able to pick any driver as a wild card but you will only be allowed to use that driver as your wild card pick for 5 races for the entire year. The other change will have to do with when your drivers are due. Next year I will not need your picks until 3 P.M. on Friday instead of 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Races to go to next year

With my work scheduleI have to plan things well in advance. We have kicked around a few ideas and I have came up with a list of races that I could go to. Now if none of these dates work for you all.....well screw you go where you want.
Sunday March 18 at Bristol-524 miles 9 hours
Sunday April 1 at Martinsville-684 miles 11.5 hours
Saturday April 14 at Texas-739 miles 12 hours
Saturday April 28 at Richmond-781 miles 13 hours
Sunday May 6 at Talladega-514 miles 8.5 hours
Saturday May 12 at Darlington 779 miles 13 hours
Sunday September 2 at Atlanta 513 miles 8.5 hours
Saturday September 8 at Richmond 781 miles 13 hours
Sunday September 16 at Chicago 270 miles 4.5 hours
Sunday October 13 at Charlotte 674 miles 11.5 hours
Sunday October 28 at Martinsville 684 miles 11.5 hours
Sunday November 4 at Texas 739 miles 12 hours

If their is no interest in these races that's okay. I will pick one and go without you. We talked about August 25 at Bristol or October 7 at Talladega but both of those dates are out for me. Just let me know. If their is no interest I will probably just go to the Chicago race in September just because it is close.

Clint Bowyer Crashes the Chase

This is the lovely Athena Barber. She is the former long time girlfriend of Clint Bowyer. She broke it off when she realized that the sponsor for the #33, the Hamburger Helper Helping Hand, could make her feel things with those four fingers that Clint could never make do. Next week's race is at Martinsville on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. There are only four races left for the year. Here are the results from Talladega.

Week-Toby 199, Norb 197, PT, Matt and Freddy 176, Cosmo 175, Jim 173, Neil 170, Al 169, Chuck 159, Bauman 146, Brian 138

Segment-Matt 853, Al 838, PT 836, Norb 822, Neil 799, Jim 796, Toby 795, Freddy 783, Bauman 763, Cosmo 749, Brian 738, Chuck 691

Overall-Cosmo 4257, PT 4248, Matt 4243, Chuck 4221, Freddy 4191, Jim 4127, Neil 4121, Toby 4082, Brian 4070, Norb 4041, Bauman 3981, Al 3957

I had mentioned a possible trip to Bristol next August. After careful consultation with my advisors, we decided that maybe a trip to Talladega next October 7th would be better. The drive is much shorter and tickets are a little easier to get. It is a Sunday race, so we would leave Friday, tailgate and go to the truck race on Saturday, tailgate and go to the race on Sunday and come home Monday. That Monday will be Columbus Day so most people would have it off. Just let me know if you are interested so we can try to get our seats close together and get hotel reservations. We need to know ASAP so we can get hotel reservations. Talladega is kinda in the middle of nowhere and the hotel rooms can be hard to come by.

Matt Kenseth wins at Charlotte.

Katie Kenseth crashed while practicing for a charity race a few weeks ago and broke her collarbone. That is her husband running towards her. It's a good thing his car runs better than he does. The 48 took a big hit in the point standings and in his car. Now you all know I do not like the 48 at all but that was a hard hit and I thought he may have been hurt. I was glad he crashed out of the race but I was glad he didn't get hurt. Next week's race is at Talladega on Sunday afternoon. I will need your drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. Here are the results for the week and the current standings.

I sent out a text today about going to the Bristol night race next August 25th. Let me know if you are interested. The wives are also invited. Getting tickets shouldn't be a problem but hotel reservations could be so let me know so we can work on reservations. I know it is 10 months away but with my work schedule, I have to plan way in advance.

Kansas results

Standing on track against the safer barrier
Looking at grandstand from the infield
 Signing the track
A crewman preparing the 34 car
Looking down pit row before the race
 Green flag pit stops
 Matt Kenseth pit stop
Stewart and Kurt Busch during driver introductions
Kenseth and Kyle Busch on a restart
Jimmy Johnson celebration (makes we want to barf)

The race at Kansas was sort of boring until the last 25 laps but we all had a good time. A woman walked up to Heather and gave her 2 infield passes so we got several great pictures from the infield. This week's race is in Charlotte on Saturday night at 6:45 p.m. Quailifying is Thursday night at 6:10 p.m. so for this week I will need your drivers by 5 p.m. on Thursday evening. As you will see, the overall standings are probably the closest that they have ever been since we started the league. The rest of the season should be exciting. I have a confession to make. As unbelievable as it may seem, I made a mistake when I added the points from qualifying. I posted that Neil had 11 points from qualifying but he actually had 15. Sorry about that. I want to thank the scoring Gestapo (Chuck) for catching that. I wonder if that mistake had been on my brother's score if Chuck would have brought it to my attention? Things that make you go hmmm!!! Anyway, her are the results for the week:

Week Matt 163, Toby 154, Brian 149, Jim 135, Cosmo 134, PT 129, Neil 126, Chuck and Freddy 117, Al 111, Norb and Bauman 97

Kurt Busch was the winner of the race at Dover. The top photo is of his soon to be former wife. The bottom photo is of his current girlfriend. I don't really care for Kurt Busch but you have to admire his taste in women. Blonde hair and big boobs are a great combination. This week's race is at Kansas on Sunday at 1 P.M. I will need drivers by 10 p.m. on Thursday. I will be at the race and coming home on Monday so it will probably be Tuesday night before I get the results posted. Here are results from this week:
