Harvick Wins But Everyone Wants A Little Piece Of Busch

The bad news is that Kevin Harvick only led three laps at Richmond on Saturday night. The good news was that it was the last three laps. Just when that crazy Colombian cocaine cowboy Juan Pablo Montoya, looked like he was about to win for the first time on an oval track, a late caution caused his dreams to go up in smoke. Kind of like a jet dryer at the Daytona 500. With only seven laps left in the race, Montoya and Harvick both pitted to take four tires while the rest of the field took only two or some none at all. On the restart Harvick was able to dive to the inside and pass the cars that didn't have the four fresh tires, while Montoya was stuck on the outside.

Racing on the short tracks on a full moon Saturday night is supposed to be rough and tumble racing. However for the first 350 laps of the race, that was the furthest thing from the truth. Drivers seemed to be eager to let the faster cars go around them without putting up much resistance. That is until the last 50 laps or so. That is when things started to get interesting.

Kasey Kahne was not happy when Mark Martin cut down in front of him. The driver of the number 5 car got his revenge by spinning Martin out. Now if you have ever seen Kahne in person, he is a wee little fellow. He is built like a no. 2 pencil. Most of you also know that Matk Martin is a gym rat and is in peek physical condition. Although Mark Martin is old enough to be Kasey Kahne's father, Martin would snap Kahne like a twig.

Kurt Busch ran in the top 10 all night and had a car capable of winning the race. But alas, Kurt Busch is who he is and managed to piss several drivers off. First he knocked Matt Kenseth sideways.

Then he managed to run the 56 of Truex up into the wall. Then finally he got to Tony Stewart.

So as usual, Kurt Busch turned a good night into a fiasco.

Now back to the winner, Kevin Harvick. As many of you know, Harvick will be leaving RCR at the end of the season and moving over to Stewart-Haas Racing. I don't know about you but I think Tony Stewart may have alterior motives for hiring Harvick. Let's just put it this way. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Give daddy a hug
You got penis butter in my chocolate
Arm in arm

Stewart grabs Delana Harvick's ass

Tony sure looks cool in his shades. He doesnt want Delana to see his eyes

Here the couple are all smiles. Wonder what they are smiling about? Can you see Tony's hands?

Tony and Delana Harvick doing a radio promo together

I don't know what Stewart sees in her. Besides himself that is.

This is the lastest photo of the Harvicks bundle of joy. Maybe it's just me but that is one ugly baby.

Well I have a new song for you all to enjoy, Family Tradition. Music by Hank Williams Jr. and lyrics by yours truly.

Okay now for the race results and the final standings for the first segment. In a shocking upset, Jim is the winner of the first segment. He was able to hold off Chuck to win by four points. Congrats to Jim for finally winning some money after all these years. Here are the weekly and segment results.

Week-Chuck 204, Jim 199, Freddy 187, Michael 182, Neil 174, Joe 174, Brent 164, Toby 164, PT 159, Terry 131, Dennis 121, Norb 115. (Guess Norb really did overdo it in Kansas.)

Segment-Jim 1584, Chuck 1580, Michael 1508, Freddy 1499, PT 1459, Brent 1458, Neil 1422, Dennis 1403, Joe 1398, Terry 1356, Norb 1340, Toby 1338.

The race at Talladega this Sunday will be the first race of the second segment. There has been quite a shake up in the first and second car groups. Several cars in the first and second groups have switched places. The third group only had one change. The 51 moved up to the second group and the 9 moved down into the third. I have changed the groupings on this site and will get you a hard copy of the new groups. So people pay attention when you send me your picks. Make sure you know what group your picks are in before submitting them to me. The start of the second segment is a time for renewal and redemption for all you bottom feeders. Now is the time for you to regroup and, if not compete for the championship, at least competer to win a segment. I need your picks by 11 A.M. on Saturday. Qualifying is at 11:15 Saturday morning.

Kenseth Takes Another Pole

Matt Kenseth will start from the pole for the second week in a row. I am not sure what has gotten into Kenseth. He has not been a very good qualifier throughout his career. Maybe it is the illegal parts in his engine. Here are the qualifying results.

Neil-24, 18, 51, 15=32

Apparently Norbert had a really good time at the race this weekend. I was able to obtain a few photos of him enjoying himself.

Norb passed out in the first turn

Norb passed out at the tailgate party

Norb passed out at another tailgate party

Norbert being arrested for public intoxication

The cause of Norb's constant state of unconsciousness

I have found another song for you to enjoy. I would like to dedicate this song to all of the drivers who crashed out at today's race.

Kansas, Kenseth and Qualifying Oh My

Matt Kenseth finds himself in some unfamiliar territory, the front row. Kenseth is normally not a very good qualifier but he turned the fastest lap in qualifying to win the pole for the STP 400 in Kansas. Actually, most of the Toyotas and Fords qualified very well but the Chevys seemd to lack speed. I am sure that all of the teams that run Chevrolets will get their cars dialed in for the race, especially Hendrick and RCR.

Jeff Gordon will have to start from the back of the field due to a crash during qualifying. As he was coming out of turn 2, the car simply got loose and he spun and hit the outside wall. In an interview before his qualifying run, Gordon stated that "you have to be committed to the gas pedal." In a post crash interview, Gordon was quoted as saying, "I was committed to the gas pedal."

Here are your picks for the week and your points from qualifying.
PT 56, 20, 12, 99=50
Jim 48, 20, 12, 99=41
Dennis 16, 99, 42, 20=34
Michael 48, 20, 42, 99=29
Chuck 24, 20, 42, 18=26
Freddy 48, 18, 51, 20=26
Neil 48, 20, 42, 18=26
Brent 48, 18, 51, 56=20
Terry 16, 99, 42, 48=19
Joe 48, 99, 51, 16=19
Norb 2, 18, 51, 15=17
Toby 48, 18, 42, 88=11

The top fifteen qualifiers are-20, 99, 17, 12, 18, 43, 56, 55, 39, 15, 16, 27, 78, 1, 9

Our buddy Norbert will be in attendance for the race at Kansas Speedway this weekend.
Here are a few things that Norb will be enjoying this weekend.

I am predicting that this will be Norb at 9 am tomorrow

If Norb is lucky, he will see this

If Norb is unlucky, he will se this

Unfortunately, there are never enough porta potties around

Dammit Norb, you're gonna get arrested for public urination. I am not bailing you out again!!!

Let's Push For More Busch

Kyle Busch and his wife Samantha celebrate in Victory Lane after Kyle's win at Texas. Kyle's big fake boots or Samantha's big fake boobs. Which do you prefer?

As is the tradition in Texas, Kyle celebrates by shooting his gun off. Unfortunately in all the excitement and build up, he shot a little prematurely.

Well the racing at Texas Motor Speedway is usually somewhat boring and this years event didn't disappoint. It was somewhat boring as expected. Martin Truex seemd to have the race well in hand until a late caution for mystery debris, brought all the lead lap drivers to pit row. Busch's team had the fastest pit stop and he came out of the pits with the lead and cruised to victory. It was a huge disappointment for Truex who was looking for his first victory in over four seasons.

This weekend's race is in Kansas on Sunday afternoon at 12:15 P.M. This track was recently resurfaced and will be extremely fast. The Rousch cars tested there a few weeks ago and the speeds going into the turns were in excess of 210 MPH. This is the next to last race in the first segment. I will need your picks by 3 P.M. on Friday. Qualifying is Friday at 3:30 P.M.

Here are the results for the week and the overall standings:
Week-PT 191, Terry 176, Jim 171, Norb 161, Joe 160, Michael 149, Chuck 148, Freddy 148, Dennis 148, Neil 142, Toby 139, Brent 127

Overall-Chuck 1222, Jim 1193, Brent 1147, Freddy 1142, Michael 1136, Dennis 1104, PT 1100, Norb 1087, Neil 1083, Terry 1078, Joe 1072, Toby 1053

I found another new song on the internet. This one is a tribute to Kyle Busch. Strangely enough, it sounds just like the vocalist on the "Your In Pain" song that was featured on the blog last week. Things that make you go hmmmm. Do you know what makes Dale Jr. go hmmmm? A male model. Enjoy the song.
