Kyle Busch put the number 18 on the pole for Saturday night's running of the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona. He is such a weenie.
This fan's sign says it all.
Joe-15, 20, 10, 88=32
Brent-18, 20, 42, 31=31
Chuck-48, 20, 42, 88=24
Neil-99, 20, 21, 16=24
Toby-48, 24, 34, 20=22
Jim-88, 56, 42, 48=21
Freddy-88, 14, 9, 20=17
Dennis-99, 20, 9, 88=18
Michael-88, 55, 10, 29=14
Terry-88, 55, 10, 29=14
Norb-29, 20, 21, 11=14
PT-99, 31, 10, 88=9
I can't believe I was stupid enough to be sucked in by the 88. Of course, he sucks in a lot of guys.
Here were the top fifteen in qualifying; 18, 20, 15, 5, 56, 27, 55, 48, 17, 16, 10, 99, 14, 42, 2
The results of my text pole are in. In a landslide, setting the groups by driver points instead of owner points wins. So when I update the groups for the third segment after the race tomorrow, I will go by driver points. That will affect the second and third groups more than the first group. There is a good chance that Hamlin, Martin/Vickers/Waltrip, Allmendinger and possibly Stewart could all wind up in the third group.
