Kenseth Claims Kentucky

Matt Kenseth was able to take advantage of a mistake by Jimmie Johnson and a ballsy call by his crew chief, to win the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. On a late caution when all the lead lap drivers came in for a pit stop, Kenseth's crew chief elected to go fuel only while all the other drivers changed two tires. This allowed Kenseth to come out of the pits leading the race. Johnson, who had the dominant car of the night, came out fourth and that cost him the race. After the race, Johnson bitched and moaned that Kenseth had held the field up on the restart. God knows it couldn't have been that little bitches fault. I mean he is a five time champion and he could never screw up a restart. Hells bells, he screwed up on every restart. If Johnson wants to blame somebody for screwing up his victory, he needs to look in the mirror.

This week's race is in Daytona on Saturday night, that is if it doesn't rain. Qualifying is Friday afternoon and I will need your picks by 3 P.M. on Friday. This is the final race of the second segment. Following the race, I will reset the driver groups according to owners points and post the new groupings on the blog. I will also email you and snail mail you the new groupings. After the Daytona race, the season will have reached the half way point. The third segment will consist of eight races while the last segment will have ten races to coinside with The Chase.

Okay, I got really pissed off while watching the race. The race was scheduled for 267 laps and that idiot Kurt Busch, was driving like a bat out of hell on lap 30. He took one of my fantasy drivers out with his careless disregard for common sense. So this week I have prepared a tribute for that horses ass, Kurt Busch.
