Richmond results and rantings

Kevin Harvick was the winner of the crash-filled Richmond race. This is a photo of his hag, I mean wife Delana. She does wear the firesuit in the family. I am quite sure she could kick her husband's ass. Well the field is set for the chase and I have updated the driver groups for the 4th segment. Their aren't really many changes in the groups. The 33 dropped to the second group and the 2 moved up tp the first group. The 00 dropped to the third group and the 31 moved up to the second. That's about it. I updated the groups on the homepage of the blog. I will also email and snail mail the new groups to you. Chuck was the winner of the third segment and Freddy and Norb tied for second. The rest of us just suck I guess. Now for my rant. The 88 was the beneficiary of the Lucky Dog free pass four times on Saturday night. Every time he went a lap down, miracle of miracles, the caution would come out and he would be back on the lead lap. NASCAR really needed the 88 to qualify for the chase, and he did. Conspiracy? You be the judge. I am just saying that the timing of the cautions really helped the 88 salvage what was otherwise going to be a bad night for him and for NASCAR. Anyway, here are the results for the race and the final results for the third segment.

Race-Jim 126, Cosmo 122, Bauman 121, Chuck 119, Toby 119, Freddy 117, Matt 112, Norb 109, Al 108, PT 97, Brian 84, Neil 76

This week's race is in Chicago on Sunday at noon. I will need your drivers by 10 pm on Thursday night. I know that the 4th group is sometimes hard to keep track of because of the changes in who is driving which car. The best way to keep track of who is driving what car in each race is to click on the link for Jayski's Silly Season that is on the homepage of the blog site. Then go to the race info page and it will tell you who is driving which car. Now that sometime changes during the week so you may have to check it again before you send me your drivers.
